Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Burnt ends are my favorite! Tried three of their specialty desserts... Two of them should be taken off the menu. They were flat out disgusting! Lemon curd cake gross. Oreo chocolate cake dense and gross my son only ate the Oreos.

Received excellent service in the bar area. Beer and food were excellent.

I love the menu. The service is excellent. The bar-b-que is delicious.

Fantastic food. Amazing service. The portions are what I would expect for the price and the food is absolutely to die for. Definitely a splurge kind of location or somewhere to take a client or significant other. NOT A FORST DATE TYPE LOCATION. Food is much too messy for that :P

Great service, great meat, really enjoy it

I would like to comment on the customer service at this location. I had made an order through uber eats and I called just to ask for them to add BBQ sauce. My first phone call was clearly hung up and I had to call a few more times to speak to someone. I finally spoke to Amanda and was extremely rude. She just kept saying Ok to everything I was saying as if she wasn't even paying attention. I just let it go and not even a minute later I got an email saying my order was canceled. I called back and after few times trying Amanda answered again. I asked to speak to the manager and again she was very rude but put me on hold. I finally spoke to Claudia and explained what happened. She fixed my order and was very helpful. I love the food there but it's a shame to have people like that working there. I know they were busy and I didn't mind waiting but she shouldn't rude to the customers.

We're from the Waco area and were really missing Uncle Dan's bbq potato, so we decided to stop and try Famous Dave's. First, I want say, our waitress, Stephanie, was one of the best servers I've had ANYWHERE. She was fast, attentive, funny, and went above and beyond what we expected.Now, the food. The beans were fabulous. They should, however, be ashamed of their potatoes. No restaurant anywhere should rely on microwaves to cook their food. Ever. I had to send my potato back because it had been over-microwaved so badly that the entire outside of the potato was super tough and hard. I couldn't even cut it with a knife!

Been here a couple of times now and always had great, friendly service and really delicious food. Most recent mind boggling good adventure, the Ultimate Burger: tender chopped pork, two strips of jalapeño bacon, American cheese and Beam & cola BBQ sauce. I topped mine with a little Wilbur XXX sauce, wooo! And ordered with grilled pineapple steak to cut a little of the overall calories. Oh so good! Other delicious options are the Burnt Ends and also the taco trio (get one of each type of taco!) Honestly, I don't think these guys can do wrong. Great for a date and great for groups and families.

Was kinda bummed out that I didn’t get to enjoy all my food because their was so much grease on my tray from the fries. It was kind of a bummer. I had to use my napkin to get the grease off the fries until I just lost my appetite for them. Other than that the food was good...ish.

Awful customer service. I had a phone order and I was told would be ready in 15min got there and totally was disregarded telling me to hold on. Spend 25 min waiting for it. Requested to speak to the manager and manager did not speak to me and my food was cold. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Loved their lunch specials that are offered till 4:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday!

I came around 8pm and the food came in a timely manner. My waiter was my bad experience he did not once come and ask how was the food or can I get you anything else. He asked the table beside me though. I left a note on my receipt for David. 😈

Place was busy but worth waiting for us to seat. This place was delish and deff recommend the restaurant.

Great food, we had the platter between four of us and some buffalo wings. It was extremely tasty

Dry brisket - hot link sausage was not what I would consider sausage at all. Certainly not spicy. Some sort of rolled meat with a filler that seemed to me not sausage like. Staff was nice, but high quality BBQ is paramount.

Just simply outstanding! And Joseph at the bar was a true gentleman and awesome server. Yall have us hooked!

This is the worst Famoys Dave's! Placed an order online, paid, order was supposed to be ready at 1:15 pm. It is 3:29 pm and I still dont have my order. Oh but payment was quick to get withdraw . Never again will I order or dine in at this place. This is the second time this happens

Good BBQ. Good variety. Cornbread is AWESOME! Good family restaurant.

Went in about 8:30ish. Place was dead. Tonic was flat. Fries were cold. Had to get my own silverware. Seems like the staff and manager were more interested in closing than having good food and service. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Delicious BBQ. Quick and friendly service in a casual environment. Have been here a couple of times and look forward to coming back!

Very good barbecue and reasonable prices. I had lunch here on a Monday at 3 p.m., the store was not very busy and the ambience was great. The music was not too loud and was not obnoxious; allowing for good conversation, and still having a good variety of music. Overall I would suggest dining here. The server did not let the glasses go empty, and offered us a free dessert for filling out a survey which we did sitting at the table on a smartphone. The bread pudding desert was delicious.

Awesome food and excellent service! Mr. Gabe, our waiter, made our dinner a wonderful experience. The food was really good, especially the ribs. My daughter also ordered the beef short ribs which I had to taste it and I gotta say I'm ordering that next time. Now the star of the night was their corn bread! Wow! You gotta taste it to believe it. We had some to go! Mr. Gabe gave us the history behind the food being served on a tin trash can lid, Of course you gotta go find out yourself!

The atmosphere was nice and the food tastes good but my burger was burnt pitch black

Not very impressed. Was looking forward to eating here but will probably not eat here again. Shiner on tap was flat. They replaced it, but still. Ribs were VERY tasty, but not very tender. Had to work the meat off the bone. Brisket was more fat than meat. Best part was the sauces, really good and nice variety of flavors and heat, but without much of a meal to put them on it's a bit of a waste.

The customer service was okay, however the food didn't disappoint. I think that the music could have been turned down just a little bit, but over all, I would go here again.

Bread pudding was just no where to what the description says. I also order the pork sandwhich , with a side of coleslaw. The only reason it got 2 stars was because of the coleslaw. The sandwhich was lacking portion amount of pork to bread ratio. Just don't recomend, especially that bread pudding. Never again

We are first timers to restaurant. What a great experience. Starting from hostess, who welcomed us in with a friendly attitude and sat us quickly. Famous Stephanie was terrific! Took the time to recommend us great food from the menu. Also took care of us with great friendly attitude. The manager Claudia also making rounds asking how are we doing. You really don’t see that type of service anymore. Thanks everyone for a fantastic experience!

Did an outstanding job for our Dad's 80th birthday party. The two servers were outstanding and the food was delicious. Thank you Alan.....

We placed a carry out order for the Feast For Two and ordered the Mac & Cheese instead of the french fries. To our surprise, when we got home and started serving our meal, we discovered a long hair in the middle of the Mac & Cheese that wrapped around the cheese. I called for the manager, but was passed on to the Asst. Manager. I explained the situation and she stated that she felt more comfortable speaking to the GM so they could resolve this issue. She asked for a picture to be sent to her cell phone, and of course I sent her two pictures of this disgusting, unsanitary problem. It's pretty pathetic to think especially during a time where people should be extra cautious and sanitary, this is definitely not the case at this Famous Dave's. Regardless, whatever the situation is, food establishments should ALWAYS be sanitary and careful! Pathetic and Disgusting!!!!

Loved every bite of this. Had the 2 meat special with country grilled chicken and beef brisket, with mashed potatoes and beans. Everything was cooked to perfection. Meat fell off the bone. Lots of sauces to choose from as well. Very helpful and friendly staff also. 5 stars.

Amazing food, ribs were tender, juicy, and fell off the bone. Absolutely love this place, if you haven't been, you're definitely missing out.

Claudia and her crew did an outstanding job today at our event! We had over 400 people show up and they didn't skip a beat. Great job to you and your Team Claudia! The food was great as well!

Side dishes were the best part of the meal. Chopped pork was old, fatty and hard.BBQ chicken breast was dry as a bone and sauce couldn't help

It was my first time at Famous Dave's and it was great. The service was really friendly and good. I had the wings with buffalo sauce and the ribs and both were absolutley delicious. Can recommend this place.

Ordered online and had it delivered. Portions are really small for a "family" meal. Only one person can eat the meal complete with bread, meat, and all sides. Will not order again.

Don't order online during this pandemic. Ordered online, came to pick up (no service), and called from the parking lot where it pointed for carry out and was told best bet is to stand in line and order to pay. Mind you online ordering already charged!!!

Everyone was cooked so right! Ribs so juicy that I did not add any BBQ sauce. Cornbread very tasty. Corn cooked just right. Beans lots of flavor. Great service too!/

Had an awesome meal from this location during lunch time. Caught the lunch special and was not disappointed in taste or price. The meat was juicy, the corn bread was moist and flavorful, and the sauces were all made to perfection. While this may be a chain restaurant, this location hit it out of the park.

Food is good, but service is not great. Service seem to stay hidden until they are ready to serve and keep their backs to customer section while talking so they don't accidentally see you.

Great place for BBQ! Joe at the bar was great! Today is the birthday of Prince and Joe sang a Prince song to me! 😊😍I had the brisket and it was extremely tender and flavorful! It's the ideal place to hang out with friends/family, watch the game, eat good food, have a drink and relax. Very casual 😊
